After that hailstorm, I finally filed a claim with my homeowners insurance to replace the roof. It’s a relief that the policy actually covers storm damage, though I’m still waiting on the adjuster to come out and confirm the estimate. The whole process is slower than I’d like, but at least the deductible isn’t as high as I feared.
