small yard athletic court 2

The small yard athletic court is squeezed between the garage and the back fence, with a worn basketball hoop that tilts slightly to the left. Cracked concrete makes a rough surface for dribbling, but the netless hoop still swishes a perfect arc on quiet evenings. Dandelions poke through the court's edge, and someone chalked a four-square grid near the corner. It's not much, but for agile footwork or a quick game of HORSE, this pocket court punches well above its size.
